George Pólya
George Pólya (December 13,1887-September7,1985) was a Hungarian mathematician , he was a professor of mathematics from 1914 to 1940 at ETH Zürich and from 1940 to 1953 at Stanford University .he wrote three books, it is "Problems and theorems in analysis“ ,"How to solve it“ and "Mathematics and Plausible Reasoning". And too wrote a lot of Articles of math but the real reason because is famous for his method for to teach mathematics that it has four steps and called: 4 Steps to Problem Solving 1. UNDERSTANDING THE PROBLEM 2. DEVISING A PLAN 3. CARRYING OUT THE PLAN 4. LOOKING BACK The four steps to problem solving is the best method for me because I have to think that do and understand the problem too. It's effective to this day inclusive me and my classmates used Pólya's method in Calculus introduction and someone too use in physics.
